Q: Do you cater weddings and other celebrations?

A: Yes, we do, cater all events and from bridal shower to a wedding reception to a baby shower to a child’s birthday party, you can relax and enjoy a sweet dessert or savory entree. Children and grownups alike will enjoy crepes made right there in front of them with a choice of filling designed to please and delight and satisfy.

Q: How do I reserve the date for my event?

A: Simply fill out our Online Reservation Form to reserve the date to see about our availability. Weekends and holiday slots fill quickly, so make sure to book in advance if you are counting on Bon Appetit Crepe Company to cater your next party. One of our friendly associates will be happy to help you book a date and offer menu suggestions.

Q: How much is the required deposit?

A: The deposit is 25% of your total for your booked package. Total must be paid in full by day of event. We require a signed contract and a deposit. At least one full week notice must be given for any event.

Q: When do I need to let you know my menu selections?

A: Your menu checklist should be submitted with your signed contract and deposit. On Our Online Reservation Form.

Q: How long does it take for your staff to set up and clean up?

Your chef will arrive approximately 45 minutes prior to service time to begin setting up. Both set up and clean up take around 45 minutes.

Q: Do you provide lighting for your crepe station?

A: We do not provide any lighting for our crepe station. Please be sure that the location where you would like the chef to set up is well lit enough for them to safely cook for you and your guests.

Q: What do I need to provide for the chef and my guests?

A: We provide almost everything necessary to prepare and serve the crepes, including disposable black plates, forks, knives, and napkins and great looking station. We recommend having a trash can available for your guests to dispose of their used plates, utensils, and napkins. We need 2- 20 Amp Circuits for the Crepe Machines.

Q: Can I have the chef serving for less than two hours?

A: You may have the chef at your event for less than two hours, however you will be charged for the full two hours of service.

Q: How much does it cost to have you come out and cater an event?

A: It all depends on the amount of guests you plan on having at your event but if you provide that information on our reservation form and submit it, we will be more than happy to send you an estimate.

Q: Is there a minimum number of guests?

A: You can have any number of guests, but the minimum we charge for is 35 guests.

Q: What’s included if I book a party?

A: One Crepe chef, 1-2 hours of serving time (depending on how many guests you have), our full entrée and dessert menu, and French music to set the ambience.

Q: Are there any additional fees?

A: Yes. We have a base fee of $100.00 for events with in the area of 75 miles from our office. There will be slightly higher charges for over 100 miles to the event location. Once you submit your Online Reservation Form we will let you know if there are any other charges for travel.

Q: Can I customize the menu?

A: Of Course! We typically can create any number of crepe creations to your desired event theme. Take a look at our extensive menu and pick what you will like for the event.

Q: Can my guests create their own crepe, or do they have to order strictly off the menu?

A: Because all of our crepes are made to order, the chef can omit and substitute ingredients in the crepes using the ingredients they have on hand.

Q: Do you have breakfast options?

A: Yes, we serve many breakfast crepe dishes. These dishes include your favorite breakfast foods, like cheese, bacon, eggs, ham, and more!

Q: Is your food Nutritious?

A: We do our best to create dishes using nutritious local ingredients. There are menu options for every taste and dietary restriction. We understand health is important to our customers, so we work hard to keep our meals low in calories and high in flavor.

Q: How long has Bon Appetit Crepe Company been in business?

A: Seven years and counting.

Q: What if there are more guests present on the day of the event than I booked for? Will I be charged more?

A: You will not be charged more if there are more guests present than what we are booked for, however we cannot guarantee that we will have enough food. This is why it is very important that you provide us with your most accurate estimated guest count.

Q: How many chefs and stations will there be at my event?

A: The number of chefs at your event depends on your final guest count, the number of hours of service, and your selected catering package that you have picked for your event.

Q: Can I decide on the day of the event to keep the chef serving longer?

A: Your chef may or may not be able to stay longer at your event, depending on our event schedule for the rest of the day. If you would like your chef to stay longer, be sure to ask him at least 60 minutes prior to your originally scheduled end of service time. Additional time will be charged at a rate of $150 per hour.

Q: I see that you charge per person and per hour. Are there any other fees?

A: We charge sales tax at 8.75%. An additional destination fee may apply if your event is outside of our normal service area. We do not automatically include gratuity, however if you are pleased with your service you are more than welcome to tip your chef.

Q: What do you charge for kids?

A: We do not have a kids’ price – all of our pricing is based on an average adult sized portion.

Q: How many crepes can each of my guests have?

A: During the time we are serving, your guests can enjoy as many crepes as they’d like.

Q: When do I need to let you know my final guest count?

A: You can change your final guest count up to 48 hours prior to your event, unless your count increases by more than 20%. Ten days’ notice must be given for an increase greater than 20%.

Q: How much space do you need for your set up?

A: Each crepe station requires a 10’ x 10’ space. Additional space may be needed for beverage stations and salad service tables, if this is part of your booked package. Stations using electric grills can be set up indoors.

Q: Do you require electricity?

A: We do require electricity for an outdoor set up. If your event requires more than one station additional electrical outlets will be need for the event. We will provide our requirements prior to the event. We will provide 50 ft. extension cords to reach the outlets for each unit.

Q: Can I provide additional crepe fillings for your chef?

A: You may not provide additional crepe fillings to the chef. Because we are a licensed and insured catering company, all food that we serve must be provided by us. If you would like additional fillings provided, please let us know and we will provide you with a quote for the additional fillings.

Q: Do you offer gluten free options?

A: Gluten free batter is available upon request for catered events. There is a $25 charge to order a batch of gluten free batter, and one batch makes approximately 10 to 15 crepes. Be advised – not all of our crepe fillings are gluten free, so please ask if you have a question about a particular item or ingredient.
